your visit

Visit the west end of Marlborough's historic High Street

St Peter’s is a unique venue for events, exhibitions and activities within a landmark building at the heart of Marlborough’s community. We have a dog friendly, wheelchair accessible coffee shop open six days a week.

Coffee Shop

Open six days a week, 10am-4pm, for great coffee, teas, hot soups, toasties and extraordinary cakes from Mrs Brown’s Bakes.

We run a full programme of events throughout the year. Check out our events page for dates, availability and ticketing information.

There has been a church recorded on this site since 1100. The current building you are in is a Victorian restoration of a Medieval building.

For more than 40 years we have been responsible for maintaining our “not so redundant church”. Help us keep it accessible for years to come.

Address: High Street, Marlborough, Wiltshire, SN8 1HQ (Contact Us)

There is easily accessible parking on Marlborough High Street, at Hyde Lane Car Park and Hilliers Yard Car Park.

The building is approached by a flat path, leading to a level access entrance. The main building comprises of a large flat area with a small ramp leading up to the Nave; our toilets have another small ramp on the approach.

Gift Aid Declaration

Thank you so much for donating to St Peter’s and St Paul’s Marlborough Trust. Your support is helping us to raise vital funds in order to preserve this building of significant historic interest and to provide a centre for the community to explore its history and enjoy its space.

If you sign up to Gift Aid, a tax relief allowing UK charities to reclaim an extra 25% in tax on every eligible donation made by a UK taxpayer, it means that without donating a penny extra, you're helping us keep St Peter's Church open for years to come.

There are a couple of reasons that may affect our ability to reclaim that extra money, so please contact us within 21 days if:
You expect to pay less than your Gift Aid value, in UK income and/or Capital Gains Tax in the current year, or your personal details, such as name and address have changed.

If you have not paid enough tax to meet the Gift Aid claimed by St Peter’s and St Paul’s Marlborough Trust and have not notified us of this, HMRC may seek to recover this sum from you directly, as it is your responsibility to pay any difference. You can get in touch with us on if you have any questions.
