St Peter's Marlborough

Wantage Big Band make a big impression

Published: 10th February 2024 | St Peter’s Marlborough

It was a Saturday night to remember with Wantage Big Band. It was a first for St Peter’s, a full big band, 20 player in all. And wow, what a sound! The richness of so many instruments playing in harmony filled the space and oozed quality.

We had a full house to take in hits spanning decades, celebrating the best of swing, jazz and big band. St Peter’s makes for an intimate setting, there are few venues where you can be quite so ‘up close and personal’ with the performers.

A big thanks to conductor Phil Singleton and all the musicians that delivered a big show. We look forward to welcoming you back to St Peter’s very soon.

You expect to pay less than your Gift Aid value, in UK income and/or Capital Gains Tax in the current year, or your personal details, such as name and address have changed.

If you have not paid enough tax to meet the Gift Aid claimed by St Peter’s and St Paul’s Marlborough Trust and have not notified us of this, HMRC may seek to recover this sum from you directly, as it is your responsibility to pay any difference.
