St Peter's Live

St Peter’s Live, October 19th

Published: 17th September 2024 | St Peter’s Marlborough

St Peter’s Live is a free community music event in the heart of Marlborough. This charity fundraiser will feature a live music stage within St Peter’s for your entertainment, featuring some great up and coming local talent as well as celebrated performers from all over the South West.

The best part? Profits from this event will support St Peter’s Charitable Trust’s Roof Appeal, helping preserve Marlborough’s landmark community hub. The event is free to enter and will have a fully licensed bar. We will be encouraging donations via our text to donate service, in-house donation point and our website.

With your support, the Trust has been maintaining and improving your landmark, historical building for 45 years. To be able to continue all our community activities we must replace our lead guttering and restore crumbling stonework and stop the leaks. We need your help to raise £60,000, so we can restore the roof and keep this important 550 year old building open now, and for generations to come!

Date: Saturday 19th October
Time: 14:00 – 19:00

Why wait, you can donate today!
Text ’LIVE’ to 70490 to donate £5
Texts will cost the donation amount plus one standard network rate message.

You can also donate at our donation point inside St Peter’s or donate online at stpetersmarlborough.org.uk/donate

Gift Aid Declaration

Thank you so much for donating to St Peter’s and St Paul’s Marlborough Trust. Your support is helping us to raise vital funds in order to preserve this building of significant historic interest and to provide a centre for the community to explore its history and enjoy its space.

If you sign up to Gift Aid, a tax relief allowing UK charities to reclaim an extra 25% in tax on every eligible donation made by a UK taxpayer, it means that without donating a penny extra, you're helping us keep St Peter's Church open for years to come.

There are a couple of reasons that may affect our ability to reclaim that extra money, so please contact us within 21 days if:
You expect to pay less than your Gift Aid value, in UK income and/or Capital Gains Tax in the current year, or your personal details, such as name and address have changed.

If you have not paid enough tax to meet the Gift Aid claimed by St Peter’s and St Paul’s Marlborough Trust and have not notified us of this, HMRC may seek to recover this sum from you directly, as it is your responsibility to pay any difference. You can get in touch with us on contact@stpetersmarlborough.org.uk if you have any questions.
