St Peter's Marlborough

Seeing in the New Year in 1920's style

Published: 1st January 2025 | St Peter’s Marlborough

What an incredible night! A full house saw in the New Year at St Peter’s Gatsby themed New Year’s Eve party! This was the first time St Peter’s Trust has hosted a New Year’s Eve party in the 550 year old landmark building – and it was special!

The 1920s theme for the evening was led by the amazing Gershwin Gang, the five piece band showcasing a mix of Swing, Jazz and modern hits. Lead singer Sinead McCabe’s stunning voice had the dance floor full from the very start of the evening.

This New Year’s party was the jewel in the crown of our 2024 events and we pulled out all the stops to make it the most glorious night of the year. With its jazz club decor, St Peter’s was teleported back to a time of flapper girls and dapper gents. A truly memorable night was had by all and ‘yes’, we will be making it a regular event!
