St Peter's Marlborough

Feria Orchestra New Year's Concert

Published: 21st December 2024 | St Peter’s Marlborough

For their first visit to Marlborough, the dynamic Feria chamber orchestra is bringing a varied programme of exciting music to St Peter’s Church.

Award winning pianist You-Chiung Lin will delight with Beethoven’s ever popular and sparkling First Piano Concerto.

Wagner’s Siegfried Idyll moves away from his massive operatic sounds, giving us a gently emotional and evocative work for just chamber orchestra, dedicated as a message of his love for his beloved wife Cosima and son Siegfried.

The Pavane and Gabriel’s Oboe steer us to slightly lighter musical sounds before the Blue Danube will send us off into the New Year in celebratory style.

Come join us, January 19th 3:30pm. Tickets available here.
