Peter and the Wolf – Family Christmas Concert

Join us for a magical family concert of Sergei Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf, performed by a
22-player chamber orchestra,Conducted by Phillip Singleton This timeless musical tale
introduces children to the instruments of the orchestra through vivid storytelling and charming
character themes.
The performance will feature:
A live chamber orchestra (strings, woodwinds, brass, percussion)
A narrator bringing the story to life
A festive, family-friendly atmosphere
Between performances, families are invited to take part in a Christmas crafting activity, where
children can make decorations inspired by the characters — the Bird, the Cat, the Duck, the
Wolf, and more!
Whether you’re discovering Peter and the Wolf for the first time or returning to an old favourite,
this concert is the perfect way to begin the Christmas season.
Refreshments will be available to purchase at The Cardinal Coffee Shop before and after
the performance
