Sound Knowledge – Black Honey – Live Album Launch

August 17 @ 4:30 pm - 7:30 pm

We’re thrilled to announce that Black Honey will be returning to Marlborough on Sunday 17th August. They’ll be playing live in St. Peter’s from 5pm to celebrate the release of their brand new album ‘Soak’.

Across a decade as a band, the acclaimed indie four-piece led by powerhouse front person Izzy Phillips have scored two UK Top 10 albums, shared stages with IDLES, Liam Gallagher and The Libertines, and garnered an impressive live rep.
They were last with us two albums ago in 2021, performing a memorable outdoor set as their sophomore record ‘Written & Directed’ reached #1 on the Official Independent Albums Chart.
Now two years sober and also enjoying a thriving parallel career as a tattoo artist, Phillips channels that emotional labour and hard won self-acceptance into a greater creative clarity, kickstarting the most compelling chapter of the band so far.

If you’d like to attend this intimate performance in a beautiful setting, album and ticket bundles are available for purchase, featuring a copy of the new album (released Friday 15th August on CD, cream vinyl and an indies exclusive black & white vinyl in an alternate artwork sleeve) and a ticket to the event. Standalone tickets are also available but we’d ask you to consider buying a bundle where possible- it’s better value for you and the album sales help both the artist and also us with organising these events.

Tickets and bundles are available exclusively from Sound Knowledge via this page, on sale from 10am on Thursday 1st May.

All tickets are PICKUP ONLY, available to collect in advance from the shop as from the release date of the album, or on the door of the venue. Please have your order number/confirmation email to hand when collecting

**Under 16s must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult. We can’t admit under-8s for this one. This is a standing event but please notify Sound Knowledge by email if you have any access requirements.

Gift Aid Declaration

Thank you so much for donating to St Peter’s and St Paul’s Marlborough Trust. Your support is helping us to raise vital funds in order to preserve this building of significant historic interest and to provide a centre for the community to explore its history and enjoy its space.

If you sign up to Gift Aid, a tax relief allowing UK charities to reclaim an extra 25% in tax on every eligible donation made by a UK taxpayer, it means that without donating a penny extra, you're helping us keep St Peter's Church open for years to come.

There are a couple of reasons that may affect our ability to reclaim that extra money, so please contact us within 21 days if:
You expect to pay less than your Gift Aid value, in UK income and/or Capital Gains Tax in the current year, or your personal details, such as name and address have changed.

If you have not paid enough tax to meet the Gift Aid claimed by St Peter’s and St Paul’s Marlborough Trust and have not notified us of this, HMRC may seek to recover this sum from you directly, as it is your responsibility to pay any difference. You can get in touch with us on contact@stpetersmarlborough.org.uk if you have any questions.
