Jâms Coleman – Piano
Praised by BBC Music Magazine for his “thrilling variety… exquisite touch… and imagination at the piano,” Welsh pianist Jâms Coleman performs as a soloist, chamber musician, and vocal accompanist. A graduate of Cambridge University and the Royal Academy of Music (awarded ARAM in 2023), he appears regularly at major venues and festivals, including the BBC Proms, Wigmore Hall, Cheltenham Festival, Aldeburgh Festival, Leeds Lieder Festival, and the Cello Biënnale in Amsterdam.
Jâms has a close duo partnership with cellist Laura van der Heijden, whose album Path to the Moon reached over two million streams in its first week and was praised by The Guardian and Gramophone. His recordings also include works by Bridge, Britten, Pamela Harrison, and Fanny Hensel for labels such as Champs Hill Records, Resonus Classics, and First Hand Records. He collaborates widely with leading singers and instrumentalists, including Sir Bryn Terfel, Claire Booth, James Newby, Jennifer Pike, Timothy Ridout, and ensembles such as BBC NOW, Britten Sinfonia, and the Marmen Quartet.
Colin Scobie – Violin

He began playing at the age of eight, later studying at St Mary’s Music School and the Royal College of Music in London, and has since given masterclasses at Oxford and Cambridge Universities.
As a concerto soloist, Colin has performed to critical acclaim with ensembles including Camerata Nordica, the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Arcangelo, La Serenissima, and the Scottish Ensemble. From 2010 to 2012 he toured internationally as second violin of the Fitzwilliam Quartet, before becoming first violin of the Maxwell Quartet in 2013, a group celebrated for its dynamic interpretations and innovative approach to the quartet repertoire.
