Brilliant International Musicians Series: Amiri Harewood (piano).

October 26 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
£15.00 – £20.00

Amiri Harewood – Piano
Amiri Harewood’s Royal Festival Hall concerto debut with the Chineke! Orchestra was highly praised, with The Times calling it a “debut of considerable panache” and The Financial Times noting his “confidence and a touch of grandiloquence” in Grieg’s Piano Concerto.

Currently a postgraduate at the Royal College of Music studying with Danny Driver, Amiri has performed widely across the UK and abroad. His recital venues include Steinway Hall, St Martin-in-the-Fields, Institut Français, Bishopsgate Institute, and the Royal Albert Hall (Steinway Young Artist series), as well as appearances on BBC Radio London. Internationally, he has played at the Conservatorio in Venice and the Mozart Music Festival in Forlì, Italy.

He has worked with distinguished musicians such as Inon Barnatan, Vanessa Latarche, and Trio Shaham-Erez-Wallfisch, and was chosen as one of the first Tabor Piano Ambassadors for the Leeds International Piano Competition, where he continues to contribute to education and outreach projects. Before focusing fully on piano, Amiri was a treble with the renowned Trinity Boys Choir, performing in productions at Glyndebourne and the Aldeburgh Festival.
