Altea is a traveling cellist and singer-songwriter. After completing the Master Diploma at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, she became an Ambassador Artist for the International Yehudi Menuhin Foundation and travels between Europe and North America, carrying out participatory projects about art and environmental conservation.
She was an artist in residence at the Celacanto Center, Ruers (IT), the Sitka Center for Art and Ecology (Oregon, USA), and the Friends of Italy Hawaii on Oahu, performing as a solo artist at schools, natural parks, museums and cultural centers and facilitating workshops on communication and creativity. In London she specializes in group music teaching with Music Masters, and in workshop leading with Spitalfields Music. In 2024 she joined the orchestra of Matilda Il Musical at Teatro Sistina in Rome, and performed at the Sala Borgna of Auditorium Ennio Morricone with singer/songwriter Agadez. She is currently project manager and performer for the DestabilizzArti Project with Musica a Traverso.
