Escape to.. St Peter’s

It was fabulous to see so much of Marlborough featured on BBC1’s Escape to the Country this evening. Filmed in August last year we waited with baited breath to see if any of the footage filmed at St Peter’s would be used. We were not disappointed, beautiful views from the tower and even an interview with Sara Donaldson, our Operations Manager, made the cut!

Wider than our own 30 seconds in the spotlight, it was great to see the show showcase the abundance of shopping, cultural and entertainment opportunities Marlborough provides.

Incidentally the show’s Escapee did buy a house just outside of our wonderful town, and who could blame her with such a vibrant and active community on her doorstep.

Gift Aid Declaration

There are a couple of reasons that may affect our ability to reclaim that extra money, so please contact us within 21 days if:
You expect to pay less than your Gift Aid value, in UK income and/or Capital Gains Tax in the current year, or your personal details, such as name and address have changed.

If you have not paid enough tax to meet the Gift Aid claimed by St Peter’s and St Paul’s Marlborough Trust and have not notified us of this, HMRC may seek to recover this sum from you directly, as it is your responsibility to pay any difference.
