BBC's Escape to the Country visits St Peter's

Published: Thursday 8th August 2024 | St Peter’s Marlborough

Tuesday, a film crew from BBC’s ‘Escape to the Country’ visited St. Peter’s to capture its renowned view of Marlborough from St. Peter’s Tower.
Impressed by the vista, they couldn’t resist filming inside St. Peter’s after enjoying coffee at our Cardinal Coffee Shop. They were captivated by the architecture and beautiful stained-glass windows, deeming it essential footage for their upcoming show.
During filming, they interviewed Archie Easton, the Cardinal’s supervisor, and Sara Donaldson, St. Peter’s Operations Manager, to discuss St Peter’s as a community hub, Marlborough and Wiltshire. We eagerly anticipate seeing the broadcast!
