St Peter's Marlborough

Classical Concert Series

Brilliant International Musicians enters its 13th Season

Published: Monday 2nd September 2024 | St Peter’s Marlborough

This thirteenth series of BIM will bring the total number of glorious recitals in St Peter’s Church since 2012 to 91!

While providing the audience with the opportunity to hear wonderful music performed by upcoming and established stars from the world of classical music, it also provides the musicians with the opportunity to perform in the close, intimate setting of St Peter’s Church in front of a truly discerning audience. Since its inception the series has gained an international reputation and has attracted musicians globally. We have welcomed instrumentalists and singers from China, Azerbaijan, the Canary Isles, South Africa, South Korea, Italy, Portugal and France.

Our first concert is on October 6th at 7pm, when Joana Ly (violin) and Martin Andre (piano) will be delighting us with the following programme:

  • Dora Pejacevic: Spring Sonata
  • Maurice Moszkowski: 4 morceaux
  • Beethoven: Spring Sonata

The season’s recitals are being performed as part of the expanding programme of events and other activities held by St Peter’s Marlborough, our local charity and community hub for history and the arts. The funds raised will enable the charity, managed by St Peter’s Trust for the last 45 years, to continue to play a vital role in the Marlborough community and the surrounding villages.
