Simone Alessandro Tavoni, Sunday 24th April

Our next recital in the tenth series of “Brilliant International Musicians in St Peter’s Church” is being given by the Italian pianist Simone Tavoni on Sunday 24th April at 7.30pm.  We do hope you will be able to attend.

Simone comes from a very distinguished background having studied in Italy, Budapest and at the Royal College of Music in London. He has given recitals in the USA, Denmark, Hungary, France, Spain and other European countries. In the UK he has performed in the Royal Festival Hall, the Victoria and Albert Museum, St Martin in the Fields and Winchester Cathedral. 


He is playing a wonderful programme for us :

Beethoven Pathetique Sonata        Chopin Mazurkas op 50     Chopin Rondo op 16     Debussy Image book 1 no 2 (Homage to Rameau)        Mompou Cancion y Danza no 1       Scriabin Sonata no 3.
