Charlotte Dryden-Kelsey

Marlborough Open Studios, Charlotte Dryden-Kelsey

Studio 16, Exhibiting at St Peter’s Church, Marlborough.
July 9th, 10th, 16th, 17th, 23rd, 24th. 11am-5pm.

Charlotte is interested in storytelling and capturing a moment or memory in each artwork.

This exhibition of work has a strong sense of place and is centred in telling everyday small stories, based around Charlotte’s family and childhood in Marlborough.

Working primarily in ink and watercolour with touches of collage and stitched detail, there is a classic storybook feel in both original pieces and prints.

Charlotte is passionate about encouraging creativity in others and will be live illustrating in traditional media throughout open studios.

Charlotte will be offering 10 minute live illustrated portraits during studio opening hours. These will be available for a donation to the St. Peter’s Trust.

Charlotte is happy to draw individuals or family groups and chat about her process to any aspiring artists.

Come and browse the exhibition, or pose for a 10 minute live illustrated portrait as part of the event.
