Consider being a Trustee

St Peter’s Trust seeks to broaden the skills and diversity of the Board of Trustees (the Council) and is interested in hearing from anyone who is thinking of becoming involved with a local, charitable organisation.

We are looking for people of all ages, backgrounds and experience who feel they may be able to contribute to the ongoing development of the Trust.

Being a trustee means you have one of the most important and exciting roles within a charity. Along with your colleagues, you are responsible for making sure the charity is run properly and uses its charitable funds and assets wisely.

Being a trustee gives you the opportunity to:

  • Provide support to an organisation that is making a real difference to both individuals and the Marlborough community
  • Contribute your skills and expertise to a cause that is important to you
  • Play a fundamental role in the strategic development of the organisation
  • Gain valuable experience and learn new skills as part of a team
  • Challenge yourself, by applying your skills in a different environment
  • Gain non-executive board experience
  • Learn from other trustees and gain new insights from seeing how others respond to situations and make decisions

Please contact David Du Croz at: Chair@stpetersmarlborough.org.uk for an informal, confidential discussion and further information.
