Findlay Spence (Cello) and Anna Han (Piano), Sunday 22nd May

Our final recital in the 10th series of Brilliant International Musicians in St Peter’s Church is being given on Sunday 22nd May at 7.30 pm in St Peter’s Church Marlborough; Findlay Spence (cello) and Anna Han (piano). We do hope you will be able to attend.

Findlay Spence from Scotland has performed at festivals and venues throughout the world as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral principal. He was a scholar at the Royal College of Music where he studied with Melissa Phelps.  Findlay has toured Europe and China as an orchestral musician, and was principal cello of NYO Scotland at the BBC Proms. He has played with the European Union Youth Orchestra, BBC Symphony Orchestra, English National Opera Orchestra, and was Principal Cello of the Royal College of Music orchestra.


American pianist Anna Han has performed over sixty solo concerts and eighty chamber recitals around the world, and eleven different concerti with orchestras across the United States. She won the Juilliard Bachauer International Piano Competition, Music Academy of the West Piano Concerto Competition, and New York International Piano Competition.

Benjamin Britten: Cello Sonata in C Major

Cesar Franck: Cello Sonata in A Major
