We’re thrilled to announce the return of much loved indie outfit Mystery Jets to Marlborough. The band will be playing a 45-minute set at St. Peter’s Church at 7.30pm on Wednesday 12th August to celebrate the release of their brand new album, ‘A Hole To See The Sky Through’.

Their first album since 2020, ‘A Hole To See The Sky Through’ is a conceptually rich, inward-facing counterpart to 2016’s ‘Curve of the Earth’ (when the band last paid us a visit). Inspired by Yoko Ono’s artwork of the same name (used with permission as the cover art), the record embraces the idea of finding meaning, hope, and perspective through absence, limitation, and reframing.

‘A Hole To See The Sky Through’ is out 21st August 2026 on CD, LP and an indies exclusive blue vinyl. We also have a handful of the super limited Dinked Edition if you’re interested in one of those, purchase a standard bundle and message us about upgrading. We’d ask you to consider supporting the artist and us by buying the physical product bundles where possible- it’s better value for you and will help us to deliver these exclusive events to you in future. Standalone tickets are limited to one per basket, but you can purchase as many physical bundles as you like.

PLEASE NOTE- All tickets are collection-only for this one as the event takes place before the release of the album. We’d urge you to collect your tickets in advance from Sound Knowledge but, if you can’t get to us before, you can collect at the venue when doors open for the show. Please have your order number/confirmation email to hand. If you pay postage for a bundle, this will be for the album which will be sent out to you to arrive on/around the release date of 21st August.

Under 16s must have tickets and be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult. We can’t admit under-12s for this one. This is a STANDING event but please notify Sound Knowledge by email if you have any access requirements. 

We’re delighted to be hosting a Summer Day of Dance at St Peter’s Church, Marlborough on Tuesday 25th August, from 9:30am to 2:15pm.

If you’re looking for a fun and active activity for your children during the summer holidays, this promises to be a fantastic day of dance, creativity and movement in the beautiful setting of St Peter’s.

Our church provides a unique space that combines the character and charm of a historic building with a wooden floor that’s ideal for dance and movement.

The workshops are suitable for children up to 12 years old, with sessions designed for different age groups. Parents and carers are invited to watch the end of the older children’s session, or join in with their little ones during the Early Years session.

The Cardinal Coffee Shop at St Peter’s will be open throughout the day, offering refreshments, cakes and light lunches—perfect for relaxing between sessions or after the workshops.
