It follows Mai\, a British-Vietnamese teen navigating two cultures and clashing with her protective mother\, Trinh\, a refugee from war-torn Vietnam. Đỗ explores identity\, generational conflict\, and the legacy of the Vietnam War in a story praised as poetic\, nuanced\, and deeply moving.\n\n\n\nChurch Going by Andrew Ziminski is a lively and insightful look at the architecture of British and Irish churches\, from lychgates to crypts.
