DESCRIPTION:Experience the best view in Marlborough by taking one of St Peter’s Tower Tours. \nYour guided tour takes you up the 137 steps\, with pit stops at the priest room\, the ringing chamber and the clock room before reaching the open air and views unmatched. From the top you can see the whole of Marlborough High Street down to the Town Hall\, Marlborough College and its grounds including the White Horse and surrounding areas. \nOur Tour Guides are full of knowledge about St Peter’s and Marlborough’s rich history and you can visit the Cardinal Coffee Shop afterwards and take in the beauty of St Peter’s Church building. \nTours are held throughout the day on Saturdays and Bank Holiday Mondays during the hours 10:00am – 4:00pm. \nTickets on the door:\nAdults – £5\nChildren – Free

DESCRIPTION:St Peter’s Live is a free community music event in the heart of Marlborough. This charity fundraiser will feature a live music stage within St Peter’s for your entertainment\, featuring some great up and coming local talent as well as celebrated performers from all over the South West. \nThe best part? Profits from this event will support St Peter’s Charitable Trust’s Roof Appeal\, helping preserve Marlborough’s landmark community hub. The event is free to enter and will have a fully licensed bar. We will be encouraging donations via our text to donate service\, in-house donation point and our website. \nWith your support\, the Trust has been maintaining and improving your landmark\, historical building for 45 years. To be able to continue all our community activities we must replace our lead guttering and restore crumbling stonework and stop the leaks. SUMMARY:Kids half-term activity: Pumpkin Carving
DESCRIPTION:On Wednesday 30th of October we have a spooky half-term treat! Pumpkin Carving at St Peter’s Marlborough! We’ll provide all you need to carve a wonderful pumpkin to take home for your Halloween decor. \nEvent runs from 10am to 3pm. \nIncludes: \n\nA Pumpkin\nTemplates for more elaborate spooky designs\nLoan of carving tools in our Halloween themed carving station\nFree kids hot chocolate at our Cardinal Coffee shop\n\nSuitable for children 5-12\, younger ones can partake if parent supervised. \nWe will be using child safe tools\, parent supervision is advised although St Peter’s staff will be on hand to demonstrate\, oversee and give a helping hand. Wear old clothes as pumpkins are messy! \nPre booking is advised\, tickets available below. We will try to accommodate drop-ins as slots become available. \nNo tricks\, all treat for just £6 per child!\nBattery powered candles will be available for a small donation. \n
