DESCRIPTION:This year the RNLI are celebrating the 25th anniversary of their Beach Lifeguard\nService.\nJoin us for a lively evening of seafaring songs and verse with the talented and\nversatile Dodecantus Chamber Choir.\nAll proceeds from this concert go to the RNLI – the charity that saves lives at sea. \nTickets : £16 https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/rnli-the-lifeboat-concert-2026-marlborough-wiltshire-tickets-1981013054373?aff=oddtdtcreator \nDodecantus is a mixed voice chamber choir based in Wiltshire. As well as giving\nconcerts in the local area they have undertaken European tours\, performing at\ninspirational venues including Seville Cathedral\, L’Abbaye de Fontenay and St John’s\nCo-Cathedral in Valetta\, all of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. They have\nbeen regularly engaged to sing Choral Evensong a Cathedrals throughout the country\nbut for this special event they will definitely be letting their hair down.\nExpect songs ranging from Holst to Queen\, Bob Chilcott to Spike Milligan ; songs\nabout pilchards and brave lifeboat crews; rhythms of jazz and traditional Zulu music. \n

SUMMARY:Warm Spaces at  St Peter's
DESCRIPTION:We are open for Warm Spaces on Saturday 27th \, Monday 29th and Tuesday 30th from 10am-3pm . \n  \nTo help support our community\, we will be opening the building on the days surrounding Christmas as a Warm Space – a place for company\, conversation\, and comfort and for all. \nWe will be offering free hot drinks\, and biscuits to anyone who drops in\, along with a friendly welcome and a warm environment. \nWe would also welcome donations of: \n\n\nBiscuits ( Shop bought  please\, not homemade so we can list any allergens please ) these can be dropped at St Peters during our normal opening times during the run up to Christmas.\n \n\nDonations online via the website or in person\n\nAnything you can offer will help us keep the space warm\, welcoming\, and open to all. \n  \nVolunteers are always wanted and needed \, if you would like to volunteer please email Daisy@stpetersmarlborough.org.uk

DESCRIPTION:Cards for Good Causes in St Peter’s Marlborough\nCards for Good Causes will be returning on Monday 1st November this year and will be with us daily in the lead up to Christmas. Cards for Good Causes is the UK’s largest multi-charity card and gift retailer supporting local and national charities. \nThey are a not-for-profit retail company which currently partners with over 70 charities throughout the UK providing both promotion and royalty income to each charity. They offer the most comprehensive range of cards and gifts for all occasions that directly supports the charity sector. \nStarted in 1959 by James “Jim” Jackson\, Secretary of the British Diabetic Association\, gathered a group of medical charities together to discuss the coordination of publicity for selling charity cards at Christmas to help promote the charities as efficiently as possible. \nCards for Good Causes will be open within St Peter’s Monday to Saturday\, 10am – 4pm. \n  \n
